On December 31, 1985, my life as I know it changed for the worst. I had always been prone to migraine headaches, but knew after spending the day in bed I would wake the next morning and the headache would be gone. On that morning in December the headache was different. It didn’t go away.

Over the next few months I visited several doctors and lived life in a narcotic induced fog trying to find a solution as to why my headaches had become so severe, and to try and get rid of them. I saw my doctor, was referred to 4 different neurologists, a psychiatrist, a number of chiropractors, naturopaths, and acupuncturists. I had allergy testing done and may a number of dietary changes. In short, I became a walking pharmacy exist, and still nothing helped.

In 1994 I came to Bellevue Chiropractic Group. They used motion x-ray to evaluate my neck and worked with me for a couple of weeks. For the first time in over 12 years I became headache free without the use of drugs. I have been suffering from migraines since 1992. At first the headaches would occur every 3 months and last about 3 days at a time. They were very debilitating. I started getting migraine headaches at around 13 years-old. I work construction for a small company. Last summer I had a migraine so bad on a job site that I needed to be taken to the hospital.
